Many did not expect that netizens would get heated comments after watching **Maricel Soriano** in a segment of the program where she was with young actress **Kim Chiu**. According to those who watched, Maricel’s way of speaking seemed “bothering” during the said occasion.

In an episode of their guesting, many noticed that there were times when Maricel’s words seemed awkward or like a joke but had weight to them. Some said that it might just be due to her natural charisma and style of telling jokes, but some also couldn’t help but question why the tone of her answers seemed “tense”, especially in Kim’s presence.

“Kim Chiu seems uncomfortable with Maricel’s demands,” said one netizen.
“She’s still Diamond Star, but it’s still a bit awkward to listen to,” commented another.

Despite these comments, many fans still defended Maricel, saying that her style of joking has been known in the industry for a long time and that some younger viewers might just be unfamiliar with it. Others advised not to judge veteran artists based on a few clips or segments.

To date, neither Maricel Soriano nor Kim Chiu’s camp has issued any statement regarding the issue. But in the world of showbiz, whether small or big, every action and word is sure to have eyes and ears on it.
