A huge controversy has rocked the showbiz world again after **Sharon Cuneta** released a seemingly meaningful statement, allegedly related to **KC Concepcion**’s unfollowing of her sister **Kakie Pangilinan** and father **Kiko Pangilinan** on social media.

Although no names were directly mentioned, Sharon’s words in her post were notable, where she mentioned “family,” “gratitude,” and “respect”—which netizens immediately linked to the current tension between her eldest child and her other loved ones.

According to those close to the Megastar, Sharon is said to be unable to hide her sadness and disappointment over the seemingly deepening rift in her children’s relationship. Another source said, “For Sharon, family is the most important thing. So even if she doesn’t say it directly, everyone can feel the weight on her heart.”

It can be recalled that in recent days, avid followers noticed that KC no longer followed Kakie and Kiko, which prompted various speculations. Some say that this is just simple “social media management” by KC, but many believe that there is something deeper going on.

While KC is still silent on the issue, every move of the mother and daughter leaves a heavy question: Will this lead to a proper conversation, or will the misunderstanding only get worse?

Meanwhile, the public continues to wait for the next move of the Cuneta-Pangilinan family, while fans still hope for reconciliation despite all the troubles.

**Stay tuned for the next developments — because in the world of showbiz, every move has a story!**

Sharon Cuneta on the issue about KC Concepcion: “It’s really just a small thing that got a bit out of hand and it’s a family matter.”
Sharon Cuneta welcomed the question about the current state of her relationship with her daughter KC Concepcion during the media conference of the Dear Heart concert held yesterday, September 15.

The program’s host Jun Lalin had earlier asked to avoid asking about issues outside the concert of ex-couple Sharon and Gabby Concepcion. But when Megastar joined the Q&A, she granted most of the entertainment media’s questions about KC. One of them was her alleged unfollowing of her stepdad, ex-Senator Kiko Pangilinan, and half-sister Frankie Pangilinan.

“As for unfollowing, I know you’re all curious about that,” said Sharon.

“I’ll just say this, like I said in my post, I’ll just say it again. Didn’t he say we’re not really perfect, we’re not, you know? If I didn’t have my parents and my brother and my best friends and people like Ate Baby [Gil] in my life and Mama Mina [Aragon]–all those people that sincerely cared about me when I was growing up, especially in the business–I probably turned out to be a very horrible, arrogant person. Because, kids are impressionable. You think fame means you’re the best of all. So maybe there was just a little bit…

“Okay first, of all among my children, KC is the one that is the most–let’s just say she’s the opposite of me. Her father’s blood is so strong that they get along, they’re the same, for better or for worse they’re the same. Sometimes ‘when someone is reminded of their father, son, brother, mommy, there are people who don’t want to–I have to be careful–that’s the way it is, so that’s just the way it is.”

Sharon did not elaborate on what caused the altercation.

However, Sharon said she is happy that KC is now close to her father Gabby.

“It hurt me, of course, there are unfollows, but we are a family. This is a family matter and she’s close to her papa now and that makes me happy because they lost so many years together,” Sharon said.

In her lengthy statement, Sharon also mentioned that no matter what happens, she has remained a supportive mom to her eldest child.

“I’m a mother first,” the singer-actress said. “I love KC very very much. I would die for her, for Frankie, for Miel, and Miguel and I had to, only those four would be willing to die than them. Remember when she was born, I said, growing up KC, ‘when the time comes that she has a problem, I hope it’s mine to give it to. Because, I know my strengths, my capacity, I can handle it and I don’t know if she can handle it. So, I don’t want to hurt my child.”

In connection with this issue, Sharon also gave a message to those who were waiting for what she would say about her and her child.

“Those who bash us, are they the ones who probably want to be KC’s mother Ha-ha! Or the trolls, just trolls who can’t do anything or fans who don’t understand, don’t be stupid because we’re not the family that…

“Showbiz is our job, we’re not a showbiz family. When we get home we’re very decent and private and some things have to be said within the family, so you can’t expect me to discredit my child, I will never do that.”

Meanwhile, Sharon proved this because despite the current issues, she showed support for KC and her new movie Asian Persuasion. In the comment section, many liked KC’s, “Like I always tell you mama, tho I’m not perfect, everything I do is for you ♥️”

In an interview with Ogie Diaz recently with KC, the actress said, “Okay kami, we love each other very much.”

KC Concepcion has a loving relationship with her half-siblings from her parents, Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta.

In the last part of Sharon’s statement, she also apologized to her husband Kiko and his family.

Sharon said, “I wanna apologize to Kiko and the Pangilinan clan because I was implicated because of it being public when I unfollowed. It’s really just a small thing that got a bit out of hand and it’s a family matter.

“So, whatever it is I will always support my daughter, I will always love her and I will always be her mom and tell her what she’s doing right and tell her what she’s doing wrong until I’m 80 and she’s alive.”
